Cathy L. Parker
Cathy is a licensed clinical social worker and a cat lover. In her private practice, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she specializes in the treatment of humans. The events chronicled in this tail were her first experience doing therapy with a cat. Cathy has had numerous magazine articles published, and won first prize in Insight Magazine's short story writing contest.

The screams and hisses could be heard for miles. Alarmed, I dashed out of my office and up to the front desk. What in the world was going on? Was it a terrorist? A disgruntled client with a gun? A bill collector?

I flung open the waiting room door, and found the cat perched on the receptionist's counter spewing and yelling into my secretary's face. They were calling each other names, each trying to outdo the other.
