Joyce
Colmar
|
Joyce Colmar was born in Gloversville,
a small town in the Adirondak Mountains of New York. Working alongside her
mother in her grandfather's grocery store, she developed a fondness for
people and a strong sense of independence. After graduating from SUNY Oswego, she left the ice and snow and headed south to Tallahassee, Florida, where she earned a Master's Degree in Social Work. Her first position, as a social worker in Child Protective Services, and her exposure to the dilemmas of these families, ultimately pointed her towards law. Her compassion for children and love of life supported her efforts in holding down a full-time job and a part-time job while studying law at night school. Today, Joyce has a successful practice as a trial lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia. Joyce's love of water and the outdoors is evident, since when she has any spare time, you will find her playing with her three dogs, motorcycling, diving or hiking and taking it all in. She is a great cook and is learning more and more about wines to complement those fantastic-tasting meals. Visit her website at www.fileq13.com |
