A. Williams was born in Peoria, Illinois. As a child, she enjoyed
playing softball, riding bikes, swimming, fishing, and golfing. During her
high school years, she was in the Chess Club, Junior Achievement, and played
on the Boys Golf Team. L.A. Williams is a stay-at-home mom and volunteers at the neighborhood grade school her son attends in Muscatine, Iowa. This is where her passion for writing began. With the support of her two children, friends and loving husband of 13 years she wrote The Mysterious Cave, her first book . |

The Mysterious Cave |
| The
Mysterious Cave is set in the early twentieth century. It's filled with
the exciting adventures of two eight-year-old friends, Andy and Wes, who
live in a small logging town called Hickory Creek. At school, Andy and Wes overhear some of the older boys talking about a secret cave that none of them have ever been able to find. It's supposedly located somewhere on the old Tanner farm. Intrigued, Andy awakes early on the first day of summer vacation quickly does his chores, and rushes over to his friend's house to see if he can go swimming --and possibly do some exploring! |
