K.C. West and Victoria Welsh
K.C. West and Victoria Welsh met online several years ago when they joined a Xena: Warrior Princess fan club forum. Despite living on opposite coasts of the United States, they find plenty of common ground in their love of the show's characters and their interest in writing.

K.C. lives in the east with her husband and two daughters. Victoria is a poet and writer. She and her life partner reside in the Southwestern United States. The authors are hard at work on the third book in the Shadows series.

Superstition Shadows
Fearing the loss of her financial backing, eminent archaeologist Kimberly Blair accepts her benefactor's daughter as an assistant on a project in Arizona's Superstition Mountains. But PJ Curtis, though a well-educated archaeologist, seems to lack dedication and maturity, and her reputation as a playgirl threatens the cohesiveness of Kim's close-knit crew.

Soon, PJ's questionable judgment jeopardizes Kim's obsessive quest to find evidence of a lost tribe of Amazons; a quest that brought her half way across the globe to the Southwestern United States.

Kim and PJ encounter earthquakes, rockslides, rattlesnakes and a growing attraction for each other. They discover that shadows from the past can reach out to those living in the present, and that Amazons exist even today. Their spirit and strength live on in the souls of these two women.

Celtic Shadows
Intrepid archaeologists Kim and PJ thought their trip to Wales would be a working vacation and a second honeymoon. They were supposed to help an old college friend of PJ's father discover the identity of an ancient Celtic chieftain. Instead, their journey turns into a frightening whirlwind of danger and deception. Present-day criminals and ancient warriors clash in this eerie and exciting sequel to the best-selling Superstition Shadows!

Greek Shadows
What could be more exciting for archeologists Kim Blair and PJ Curtis than jetting off to a picturesque Greek island to work with one of Kim's former students on a newly-discovered underground labyrinth?

How about slipping through a portal into the past and taking an extended journey back in time to meet some very famous women - women who help Kim and PJ face and defeat their weaknesses and discover their true Amazon destinies?

If you've read the first two books of the Shadow series, you'll be eager to accompany Kim and PJ on their latest adventure where ancient treasures and timeless warriors have profound effects on Kim and PJ's present-day lives. If you're meeting Kim and PJ for the first time, buckle up and hang on for a fast-paced, unpredictable ride to the far side of the world and beyond.

What do Kim and PJ find in the labyrinth? What do they discover about the Amazons deep within their souls? Can they shine a light deep into the ageless Greek Shadows and accept the truths illuminated there?

Canyon Shadows
Archaeologists Kim Blair and PJ Curtis, newly married both in ancient days (thanks to time travel) and in modern times, are eager for some privacy and relaxation. They set up housekeeping on Kim's ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico. Though idyllic in nearly every way, their domestic bliss becomes tedious, and the Land of Enchantment seems too tame after the action-packed adventures Kim and PJ experienced in Arizona, Wales, and Greece. Then a visit from an Amazon spirit guide forces them to refocus on their destiny and warns them of unexpected danger and heartache.

While PJ is away on a business trip, someone breaks into the house on the ranch. Kim's trusted wolf-dog, Pup, is injured and Kim disappears. Few clues exist, but PJ finds the one most likely to reunite her with her beloved Kim. PJ must risk everything to rescue her spouse from a desolate canyon hideaway.

In this fourth book of the West and Welsh "Shadow" series, Amazon shaman meets Navajo medicine woman in a gripping saga. PJ and Kim combat unspeakable evil, face overwhelming physical and mental pain, and strive valiantly to restore the harmony they so treasure. They've said they'll love each other forever and always, but just how long is that? The answer is a matter of life or death and lies in the Canyon Shadows.

Lingering Shadows
In Canyon Shadows, Book Four of the Shadows series, archaeologists Kim Blair and PJ Curtis endured an arduous test of their commitment to one another. Confronted with a situation of kill or be killed, Kim made a choice that left her physically battered and emotionally drained. Try as they might, Kim and PJ couldn't find their way back to the harmony they’d come to rely on. Canyon Shadows ended with the two women, who’d promised to love each other forever, living apart and searching for ways to go on without one another.

Lingering Shadows, the final book in PJ and Kim’s saga, picks up where Canyon Shadows left off. Kim feels unworthy of PJ’s love and is determined to set PJ free, whatever the cost. But Mother Nature herself intervenes and throws PJ and Kim back together in a dangerous struggle for survival. Their love and devotion are literally and figuratively purified by fire, and they emerge on the far side with greater insights into each other, themselves, and the strength of their union.

Join Kim and PJ on their final adventure, and experience a love that sprang into being in past lives and endures beyond time.
